Conveyor Belt

The feeder conveyor is efficiently transports empty beverage containers from the initial waste loading area to the singulator. Its controlled belt motion ensures a steady and consistent material flow, preventing jams and optimizing throughput. Designed for high-speed operations, it synchronizes with the singulator’s cycle to support uninterrupted sorting performance.

Singulator

The singulator is a rotating bunker system designed to gently and evenly release beverage containers onto the recognition belt. By separating empty PET, Can and Glass containers into a single, orderly flow, it enables accurate barcode reading classification. Its smart feeding mechanism prevents overlapping and clumping, ensuring optimal performance for high throughput sorting operations.

Recognition Unit

The recognition unit, also known as the verification tunnel, utilizes a 360-degree camera system to identify each container by barcode, shape, weight, and material. This high-speed scanning process ensures precise classification of PET, glass, and aluminum items within milliseconds. Its advanced detection algorithms minimize false recognition and support blacklist filtering for unauthorized products.

Sorting and compaction

After successful recognition, containers are pneumatically sorted into PET, Can, and glass streams. Glass bottles are directed to a crusher that breaks them into fragments larger than 50 mm, while PET and aluminum are compacted using independent 0.75 kW presses. This targeted compaction significantly reduces storage volume by approximately 55% for PET and 75% for cans enabling efficient downstream handling.
